Toomer Farmhouse is an historic stone Elizabethan Manor House set within a walled garden with ancient carp ponds and a dove cote on five hundred acres of beautiful rolling farmland. The Farm is situated on the A30, a five minute drive from the ancient town of Sherborne, with its two beautiful castles and abbey, within what is locally know as the Caundles. These are limestone hills surrounding three villages, on the edge of Thomas Hardy country.
Local history believes Elizabeth I, stayed at Toomer whilst touring her realm.
